Metro line extension from YMCA Chowk to Ballabhgarh soon

Chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday laid the foundation stone for a metro rail extension from YMCA Chowk till Ballabhgarh in Faridabad. Hooda said this project would provide a world-class-level travelling facility to the people of Delhi, Faridabad and Ballabgarh.

Rs 564 crore would be spent on the extension of this metro rail project, the construction work of which would be completed by March 2017. Two new stations at NCB colony and Ballabgarh would be set up on this line. The extension work of the Delhi Metro project from Badarpur to YMCA Chowk, Faridabad, is in its last phase. The 13.875 kilometres-long metro line from Delhi to Ballabgarh costs Rs 2494 crore, of which the state government spent Rs 1557.40 crore.
