In the three markets in Phases 7, 9 and 10, the administration has not done much. From heaps of garbage dumped in the corners, to food packet wrappers all around, the markets wear a shabby look. Worst are the back lanes of these markets and the public toilets, which stink and are impossible to use.

In areas where construction is on or has been recently completed, leftover concrete and sand are piled up, with no one bothering to clean up. Shopkeepers claim they have started a clean-up exercise and visitors must also do their bit. There is an utter lack of dustbins, even when there are many eateries.
