Nomination of six candidates cancelled in Patiala

Nomination papers of six candidates, including covering candidates, have been cancelled on Thursday. Deputy commissioner Priyank Bharti said the nominations were cancelled in the presence of poll observers Amit Kumar and Ram Vishal Mishra.

Among the covering candidates, the papers of SAD's Rupinder Kaur, Congress' Raninder Singh and BSP's Joga Singh have been cancelled, following anomalies in their documents.

The nomination of three other aspirants Bhim Singh, Darhsan Singh and Jaspal Singh were cancelled.
