Now, Volvo bus services between city, Dehradun

According to sources in the department, Chandigarh and Haldwani Volvo services will be started by the end of this financial year.

According to sources in the department, Chandigarh and Haldwani Volvo services will be started by the end of this financial year.

UTC officials claimed they took the decision seeing the demand for premium class bus services between Dehradun and Chandigarh.

Owing to the absence of adequate train services to Chandigarh and Haldwani, the corporation has started these services. “The new bus services in all likelihood will begin by the end of this financial or in the beginning of next financial year. Frequency of buses may be increased depending on the response we get. Both routes have the potential to generate revenue if passengers are given better services,” said Deepak Jain, GM, operations UTC.
