Preity Zinta lands a film with Saif
Preity Zinta, 38, has landed a film after long, and it’s with her Salaam Namaste (2005) co-star Saif Ali Khan. Buzz is that the actors will be paired up in Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK’s (of Go Goa Gone fame) next, a yet-untitled rom-com. The film, produced by Saif’s Illuminati Films, also stars Ileana D’Cruz.

“Preity plays a very significant part opposite Saif. Though they haven’t worked together for a long time, she has always shared a very warm equation with him. So when Raj-DK brought up Preity’s name with Saif, he was more than happy to have her on board. Saif himself is excited about working with her again after a gap of eight years,” says an industry insider.
Saif – who is in Los Angeles to shoot for the film – confirms: “Yes, it’s true that Preity has kindly agreed to do a special appearance for our film.” Apparently, Preity, whose last release, Ishkq in Paris, bombed badly, has already left for the US to shoot sher portions in the film.
