The Punjab government on Thursday transferred 24 tehsildars and nine naib tehsildars and promoted 11 tehsildars as district revenue officials (DROs), giving them new places of posting.
The reshuffled tehsildars with fresh postings are Vipan Bhandari (Nawanshahr), Navdeep Singh (Jalandhar-2), Parmanand (Tarn Taran), Lakhvir Singh (Dera Baba Nanak), Darshan Singh (Muktsar), Gurmukh Singh (Dhuri), Jati Kumar (Guru Har Sahai), Harphool Singh (Patti), Ram Krishan (Nangal), Ajit Pal Singh (Nabha), Darshan Singh (Khanna), Sandhura Singh (Rampura Phul), Manjit Singh Bahandari (Jalalabad), Jasbir Singh Mahi (Gurdaspur), Manjit Singh (Patran), RK Jain (Gidderbaha), Sukhraj Singh Dhillon (Kotkapura), Iqbal Singh (Bathinda), Jaspal Singh Brar (Malout), Bhupinder Singh (Ferozepur), Gurmel Singh Dhadha (Sangrur), Sukhbir Singh Brar (Ludhiana-west), Gurwaryam Singh (Dera Bassi) and Sukhpinder Kaur (Patiala).
The 11 newly-promoted DROs are Mukesh Kumar (Ludhiana), Kiranjit Singh Tiwana (Fatehgarh Sahib), Paramjit Kaur Sandhu (Gurdaspur), Amardeep Singh Thind (Mohali), Savita (Moga), Gagandeep Singh (Sangrur, with additional charge of Barnala), Amanpal Singh (Hoshiarpur), Harsharanjit Singh (Nawanshahr), Sanjeev Sharma (deputy director, land records, and principal, Patwar Training School, Jalandhar), Jashanjit Singh (Bathinda) and Avtar Singh (Jalandhar).
