Officers whose grade pay is Rs 10,000 and above and whose status is equivalent to the level of secretary and above would be entitled to business/club class in cases where the one-way flying time is more than eight hours in international flights, an official spokesman said.

All other officers of the state government would be entitled to travel by economy class only, he said.

Directions in this regard have been issued to all heads of departments, commissioners of divisions and deputy commissioners of the state, he added.
