Qualification raised for D-Pharmacy course

The Punjab government has decided to raise the qualification for the course of D-Pharmacy (upvaid) from Class 10 to Class 12, medical education and research minister Anil Joshi announced on Tuesday.

The Punjab government has decided to raise the qualification for the course of D-Pharmacy (upvaid) from Class 10 to Class 12, medical education and research minister Anil Joshi announced on Tuesday.

He said a delegation of the government ayurvedic and unani upvaid union had demanded fixing Class 12 as the basic qualification for the course of D-Pharmacy (upvaid). The minister said Class-12 passouts were eligible for the course in the neighbouring states of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
