Rs 5 crore to be spent for beautification of Dal Lake: CM

Chief minister Virbhadra Singh on Monday said detailed project report of `5 crore had been approved for the beautification of the Dal Lake situated in Naddi village overlooking Dharamsala town.

Chief minister Virbhadra Singh on Monday said detailed project report of `5 crore had been approved for the beautification of the Dal Lake situated in Naddi village overlooking Dharamsala town.

He was addressing a deputation of Naddi, led by Kewal Singh Pathania, vice-chairman of Himachal Pradesh State Forest Corporation, in Dharamsala.

He also said the road from Tangle Mor to Naddi would be improved and the portion of the road leading to the Dal village would be constructed by concrete. He said Barnet would also be connected with Ghera village mettaled road.

The chief minister added that low voltage problem of Naddi and its surrounding areas would soon be solved as the work on 33KV electricity sub-station at Totarani was nearing completion. He also listened to the grievances of the people at circuit house, Dharamsala, and directed the officers concerned to complete the ongoing development projects without any delay.
