Three injured in Kashmir grenade attacks

Two grenade attacks, one on police station, another at crowded Iqbal market, both in apple township of Sopore left three people, including one Indian Reserve Police (IRP) jawan injured in Kashmir.

Two grenade attacks, one on police station, another at crowded Iqbal market, both in apple township of Sopore left three people, including one Indian Reserve Police (IRP) jawan injured on July 31st evening, official sources said.

The militants threw a hand grenade towards heavily guarded police station in Sopore at 7:20pm. However, it exploded without causing any damage.

Both attacks were launched on the same evening and the injured were hospitalised, said sources.

The area was cordoned off and the hunt to nab the attackers has been initiated.
