Two held for snatching

The local police have arrested two persons involved in snatching in Panchkula on Thursday. The accused have been identified as Monu, resident of Old Panchkula, and Abdul Hafiz, resident of Uttar Pradesh. The duo had targeted a woman on March 30 in Kalka and had snatched her gold chain. The police have recovered the golden chain from Abdul's possession. The accused were produced in the court and Abdul was sent to judicial custody, while Monu was remanded to police custody for a day.
