People took holy dip in river Sutlej and paid obeisance at various gurdwaras, where religious diwans were organised.At Anandpur Sahib, thousands of devotees thronged Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib and other historic gurdwaras to mark Vaisakhi and Khalsa's birth anniversary.

Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib jathedar Giani Mal Singh addressed a religious congregation at the Takht. Amrit Sanchar (baptising ceremony) was also organised at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib. Vaisakhi was also celebrated in Chamkaur Sahib, Kiratpur Sahib, Morinda and Nangal.
