The men called Musk, a ‘destroyer of Wokashura’ and praised him for owning Twitter.
A group of men from the Save Indian Family Federation (SIFF) - a group campaigning for 'men's rights' - organised a 'puja' for Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of automotive, AI and clean energy company Tesla, Inc. and Twitter in Bengaluru’s Freedom Park.

The men called Musk a 'destroyer of Wokashura' - a reference to the term 'woke culture' - and 'evictor of feminists', and praised him for owning Twitter.

A Twitter post that shared the photo said, "Some men start worshipping Elon Musk in Bangalore, India. They call him the destroyer of Wokashura (Woke Ashura) and evictor of feminists."
The group claimed the puja was held because Musk had bought Twitter and allowed men to express their 'oppression'.
Visuals of 'Elon Musk puja' were soon viral on the internet.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the term 'woke' refers to someone who is 'aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice)'.
Over the last few days, SIFF members have been protesting at Bengaluru’s Freedom Park against public interest litigations (PILs) on marital rape in the Supreme Court.
They claim laws on rape, domestic violence and dowry are already biased against men, leading to a slew of false cases being registered. They fear this law will be abused more rather than being used to give justice to actual victims.
The SIFF also claimed that they are in favour of laws against sexual violence in marriage or relationship but such laws in India tend to be misused and create trouble for men.
