Four men were killed after the two scooters they were riding were hit by a speeding car near Bhangala in Mukerian sub division of Hoshiarpur district around Monday midnight, police said.

The car driver was arrested and a case was registered against him.
The scooterists were returning from work at a wedding venue in Mukerian and were headed towards Kala Manjh village when they were hit by a Hyundai Venue car.
After the collision, the car hit a truck and was badly damaged.
The two-wheeler riders died on the spot.
The police reached the spot soon after and took the bodies to the civil hospital in Mukerian.
The deceased were identified as Narinder Kumar and Sukhwinder Singh of Kala Manjh, and migrants Mithun Mandal and Devid Sahu, who lived in Jalandhar.
Hajipur station house officer Harprem Singh said that investigation was underway.
