A large number of women workers, youth activists, and local residents participated in the demonstration. Protesters raised strong slogans against the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing anger over continuously rising inflation.

Addressing the gathering, Lucky said that the poor, middle class, labourers, employees, youth, and homemakers of the country have been completely burdened by ever-increasing inflation. He stated that several national media reports and economic surveys have also highlighted how the rising prices of food items, milk, cooking gas, transportation, and daily necessities have severely disrupted the household budgets of ordinary citizens.

Lucky further said that residents living in areas like the Tenement Colony are already struggling to survive on limited incomes, and the Modi Government’s flawed economic policies have multiplied their hardships. He added that unemployment is at its peak, youth are without jobs, corruption is increasing, and inflation has further broken the backbone of the common people.
