Tamil leaders support SGPC’s signature drive for Sikh prisoners’ release

The NTK party leaders who visited Golden Temple on Sunday to pay obeisance participated in the SGPC’s signature campaign and demanded the release of Sikh prisoners.

NTK leader and United Nations (UN) speaker Jeeva Dawning appreciated the efforts being made by the SGPC for the release of Sikh prisoners and termed their release as their constitutional right. He said the NTK will support the SGPC. In this regard, a voice will be raised within the state and the matter will also be taken to the UN.

On the occasion, SGPC member Bhagwant Singh Sialka said the cooperation of the NTK for the release of Sikh prisoners will further intensify this movement. He said that the signature campaign started under the guidelines of SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami is progressing.
