The Bharatiya Janata Party has been training guns at AAP after viral videos of jailed Satyendar Jain getting a massage and purportedly provided outside food inside Tihar jail cell went viral.

Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party over the viral videos of jailed Delhi minister Satyendar Jain from Tihar jail. The Aam Aadmi Party leader said the saffron party is posting fake videos due to fear losing the upcoming elections of Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

“Aam Aadmi Party is not in a defensive mood regarding Satyendar Jain. BJP and the Congress are attacking Aam Aadmi Party over the video related to Satyendar Jain from jail and the picture of eating outside food”, ANI quoted Sisodia as saying.

“BJP is panicking due to the fear of losing elections of MCD and is defaming the Aam Aadmi Party by publicising fake videos everyday”, he added.

Sisodia's counter to the BJP comes on a day when a video of Jain purportedly having outside food in the same cell wherein he was spotted getting a massage went viral. The video had sparked a fresh war of words between the AAP and BJP, after the jailed minister's lawyer claimed his client had lost 28 kgs as he was being denied basic food inside the prison.

The BJP has been training guns at AAP, alleging that Satyendar Jain has been receiving special treatment at the Tihar jail. On Tuesday, a video of the jailed minister receiving massages inside the Tihar jail cell had gone viral. The prison officials had said that the man giving massage to Satyendar Jain was not a physiotherapist but an inmate accused of raping a minor.

The polls to the 250-member Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is being seen as a two-way contest between the BJP and the AAP. In the last civic polls, the BJP had won 181 of the 270 wards, the AAP had won 48 wards while the Congress had bagged 27. Later, the total number of wards was reduced from 270 to 250 following a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
