Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi. The meeting comes as India hosts leaders of the expanded BRICS grouping and partner countries. Modi and Putin are expected to discuss key areas of India-Russia cooperation as well as regional and global developments. The bilateral meeting is among the high-level engagements taking place during the BRICS Summit, which India is hosting as the bloc’s chair.
