Class 8 student battered to death with stones in Delhi, body found in drain
A class 8 MCD school student was allegedly killed by unidentified men with stones.
A school student was allegedly murdered - battered with stones - in Delhi’s Badarpur Thursday. The boy's body - he studied at the MCD School in the city's Tajpur Pahari - was found in a ditch by the side of road, police said. The boy was wearing his school uniform, the police also said. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southeast) Rajesh Deo said the police station in Badarpur received a call last night and the officials were told a schoolboy had been killed by two men.
"PS staff reached the spot, which is situated between Khatushyam Park and Tajpur Road village. SHO (Station House Officer), with staff and other senior officers, also visited the spot. Thereupon, dead body of a boy aged around 12-13 years was found lying in a drainage (ditch), in school uniform," Deo said.

Police said the body was found head-down in sewage. Also found were school bag containing textbooks and other study materials. Five to six yards from the bag, five blood-stained stones were found near a blood-stained white cloth.
The dead boy was a resident of Molarband village's Bilaspur Camp.
"On inspection of the dead body, multiple head injuries, apparently caused by a blunt object have been noticed. The presence of nearby blood-stained stones would have been used in the commission of crime," a police statement said.
Delhi Police have begin inquries and a murder case has been filed.
