PDA puts up notices at constructions of two Atiq aides in U.P.’s Prayagraj
While Guddu Muslim was involved in Umesh Pal’s killing, Mohd Abid is a trusted man of gangster-turned-former MP Atiq Ahmad
The Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) on Tuesday put up notices at the house of criminal Guddu Muslim, who is one of the accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, and at a commercial building of Mohd Abid, an aide of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad, in Chakia locality.

The said house is located in Behnana Tola and the commercial building is in Chak Niratul area under Chakia locality. Guddu Muslim, also a henchman of Atiq Ahmad, is one of the assailants involved in the broad daylight murders of lawyer Umesh Pal and his two police guards in Sulem Sarai area in Dhoomanganj here on February 24.
He can be seen hurling crude bombs in the CCTV footage of the incident that went viral on social media. He is carrying a reward of ₹5 lakh on his arrest. The notice informs that the construction (Guddu’s house) has been done in 13x45 feet space without taking approval from the authorities concerned. The notice put up in the name of Chand Bibi/Guddu Muslim asks them to give clarification in this connection to zonal officer Ajay Kumar at 11 am on Wednesday (March 22).
The notice put up on a commercial building in Chak Niratul also informs that the construction in 13x 20 feet space was being used for commercial purposes without any approval from the competent authorities. The building owner Abid has been asked to approach the zonal officer and give clarification as to why the construction should not be sealed or demolished as per the rules.
On March 1, the PDA had demolished a house owned by one Zafar Ahmad Khan in Chakia where Atiq’s absconding wife had allegedly been living on rent following the razing of Atiq Ahmad’s own house, also in Chakia locality, in September 2020.
