Fake medical report allegation at Dadri CHC, technician removed
An X-ray technician in Dadri was suspended for allegedly accepting ₹71,000 for a forged medical report; an inquiry is underway.
GREATER NOIDA: An X-ray technician at a community health centre (CHC) in Dadri was removed from duty for allegedly accepting ₹71,000 in lieu of issuing a forged medical report, officials said on Friday.

In a complaint filed by a local resident and submitted to the health department earlier this week, it was alleged that the technician issued an injury report to an individual who had no visible injuries. The complainant also submitted a video purportedly showing the technician accepting money, following which authorities took cognisance of the matter.
According to officials, the technician has been removed from duty pending investigation, while the role of other staff members is also being examined.
Chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Narendra Kumar said on Friday that a three-member inquiry committee has been constituted to examine the matter. “As soon as the matter came to my notice, a three-member inquiry committee was constituted under the chairmanship of the additional CMO Dr Shubhra Mittal. The report is currently awaited and action will be taken against those found guilty,” Kumar said.
Officials said the committee has been asked to verify the authenticity of the allegations, examine the circumstances under which the report was prepared, and identify any lapses or involvement of other personnel.
Meanwhile, officials aware of the matter said that such fake medical reports are often misused in legal disputes, including accident claims and criminal cases, raising concerns over the integrity of medical documentation in public health facilities.
The incident has also brought renewed focus on previous complaints of irregularities at the district hospital and Dadri CHC, where similar allegations had surfaced earlier.
Local residents alleged that in past cases, complaints did not always lead to strict action, with no FIRs registered in some instances. Officials, however, said appropriate action will be taken based on the inquiry’s findings.
“The accused has been suspended with immediate effect. Any employee found involved in such wrongdoing in our hospital will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against them,” chief medical superintendent Dr Ajay Rana said in a statement on Friday.
