Surprise inspection at juvenile home: Officials find 22 mobile phones hidden on the premises
On Thursday evening, a joint team of ADM city Vineet Singh and SP city Krishna Kumar Bishnoi carried out the surprise inspection and recovered 22 mobile phones apart from other irregularities at the juvenile home of the district at Suraj Kund locality.
Several irregularities were found during the surprise inspection of the juvenile home, including the use of mobile phones by the inmates.

SP city Krishna Kumar Bishnoi confirmed that during inspection violation of various rules and irregularities in maintaining vigil of inmates had been noticed and an inquiry had been initiated to find out laxity on part of juvenile home incharge.
Officials said the mobile phones were hidden in switch boards while some of them were hidden in the ground and covered with cardboard .
District probation officer Sarvjeet Singh pointed out that the number of inmates were thrice the capacity of the juvenile home.
Singh confirmed that 170 inmates were in the juvenile home against the capacity of 50 .
He said the juvenile home is located in a residential colony and the windows of the building open in narrow lanes, and therefore checking activities of inmates had become more tough.
According to reports, officials are mulling on a plan to install CCTV cameras here to monitor the activities.
