Two killed in car crash in Aligarh

Police said Vivek Chandra was a resident of Etawah district and is survived by his wife and two children.

: Two managers of Central Bank of India were found dead inside a car that met with an accident in Aligarh, police said on Wednesday. According to police, the car appeared to have gone out of control and crashed into a roadside tree sometime during the night or early Wednesday morning. The vehicle was found on Wednesday morning.

Police said the bodies were sent for post-mortem examination and family members were informed (For representation only)

Vijay Singh, incharge of Gandhi Park police station in Aligarh, said the deceased were identified as Vivek Chandra ,38, branch manager at the Harduaganj branch of the bank, and Tanya Sharma ,30, assistant manager at the Banna Devi branch in Aligarh.

Police said the bodies were sent for post-mortem examination and family members were informed. Officials added that the exact cause of the accident is being investigated and no complaint had been lodged by family members till Wednesday evening.
