A CET official said, “The appointments are being made to ensure smooth implementation of the admission process for professional courses and to provide better assistance to students during counselling and admission-related activities. Retired government officers and employees are eligible to apply, provided they possess a graduate or postgraduate degree. Preference will also be given to candidates with prior experience in handling entrance examinations, centralised admission processes or academic administration.”

Applicants are expected to have sound knowledge of computer operations, including MS Office, scanning, printing and portal-based work. Familiarity with the CET cell’s online systems and admission processes will be considered an added advantage. Candidates must possess good communication, coordination and counselling skills; along with proficiency in Marathi, Hindi and English.

The appointments will be made for a period of one year and the services of appointed officers may be terminated with one month’s notice if their performance is found unsatisfactory.
