The Pune Zilla Parishad (ZP) on Tuesday submitted the final investigation report in the fake NOC case to the education department.

As per the report, seven more schools have obtained fake NOCs through agents by giving ₹12 lakh.
Earlier, the deputy directorate of education department had instructed to submit a detailed report regarding three schools who obtained fake NOCs and have been running illegally.
“We have submitted a detailed investigation report to the education department regarding the fake NOC case and further action will be taken. All the details of this case, enquiry and statement reports from the school management have been submitted and scrutiny of a few more schools is underway,” said Sandhya Gaikwad, primary education officer at Pune Zilla Parishad.
On Monday, a case was registered an unidentified person here for providing bogus no-objection certificates (NOCs) of the education department to three city schools
“During investigation it was found that seven more schools have been given bogus no-objection certificates (NOCs) by these agents. Detailed reports of these seven schools will also be submitted. This is a huge racket and strict action will be taken,” said a senior ZP official requesting anonymity.
It takes at least eight days to conduct a full enquiry of the school. If schools are found with a bogus NOC, an FIR will be registered against the school management and the agents involved.
“We have started the scrutiny of all the CBSE schools. It will be done at the education ministry level and also with the CBSE head office at New Delhi. Till then we have ordered all the schools to display their CBSE and state government approved certificates on their notice boards,” said Suraj Mandhre, state education commissioner.
