A scientific tableau showcasing India’s journey in space exploration, from its early missions to planned human spaceflight and lunar missions, has become an attraction for devotees at the Suyog Mitra Mandal in Gokhalenagar during the Ganesh festival.

A replica of Vikram-1, the rocket developed by private Indian space technology company Skyroot Aerospace, is also among the attractions. (HT)

Titled ‘Indian Space Missions – I Want to Become an Astronaut’, the tableau features information on the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Chandrayaan-1 to Chandrayaan-3, Mangalyaan, Aditya-L1, Gaganyaan, the proposed Venus mission and planned human lunar missions, besides the proposed Indian space station.

A replica of Vikram-1, the rocket developed by private Indian space technology company Skyroot Aerospace, is also among the attractions. The tableau traces the country’s space programme while highlighting opportunities available to Indian youth in space science and technology.
