Ghnashyam Hake, six others booked for disturbing traffic movement in Hadapsar

PUNE Ghanashyam Hake, Dhangar community outfit president, and six others have been booked for organising a programme without proper police permission and disturbing traffic movement in Hadapsar area, said police on Monday.

According to officials from the Hadapsar police station, on Saturday evening, Hake and Mavala Group had organised a programme at Mavala Chowk and even invited television serial celebrity Abdu Rozik from Big Boss.

Police said, because of the programme traffic movement in the area was disturbed. In addition to that, the organisers did not have proper police permission hence we have taken legal action against them.

Arvind Gokule, senior police inspector, Hadapsar police station, said, “People should follow rules and regulations prescribed by the government. Any such illegal activity won’t be tolerated.”

Hake, Malappa Chittanand Hirkur and five others have been booked under Sections 186, and 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
