NCP forms 14-member committee to draft PMC election manifesto

The manifesto will focus on traffic, infrastructure, water supply, waste management, health, education, parks, culture, sports, smart technology, youth and women’s safety

The Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has set up a 14-member committee to prepare its manifesto for the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation elections. The manifesto will be prepared under the guidance of deputy chief minister Pawar, who is also the party’s city president, and state unit chief Sunil Tatkare and the panel will include the city president, MLAs, former mayors and house leaders.

Sunil Tingre, Subhash Jagtap, MLA Chetan Tupe, former city president Deepak Mankar, former mayor Rajlaxmi Bhosale, Vaishali Bankar, Dattatraya Dhankawade, former deputy mayor Dilip Barate, former standing committee chairman Baburao Chandere, Balasaheb Bodke, former house leader Shankar Kemse, former corporator Pradip Gaikwad, former house leader Nilesh Magar and deputy mayor Bandu Gaikwad comprise the panel.
