Night temperature increases to 11.2 degrees Celsius in Pune

After a reporting drop in night temperature, Tuesday reported a gradual increase. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), night temperature in Pune on Tuesday was 11.2 degrees Celsius.

Since November 16, a gradual drop in night temperature was reported. The decrease in night temperature was as low as 8.8 degrees Celsius on Monday.

The night temperature was 1.9 degrees Celsius cooler than normal on Tuesday. Whereas, day temperature reported was 31.4 degrees Celsius which was 1.4 degrees Celsius warmer than normal.

Anupam Kashyapi head of weather forecasting department at IMD Pune said that on November 23 and November 24, partly cloudy conditions are likely to be reported.

“Night and day temperatures in the next few days are likely to report a rise. Partly cloudy conditions are likely to continue in the next few days. Due to this day and night temperatures will see a gradual rise. Day temperature may vary from 31 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius and night temperature may vary from 12 to 13 degrees Celsius,” said Kashyapi.

Night temperature across Maharashtra has also reported a gradual rise. The lowest minimum temperature in the state dropped as low as 8.2 degrees Celsius on Monday. Whereas the lowest minimum temperature on Tuesday was reported at Jalgaon at 9.2 degrees Celsius.

Whereas, the highest day temperature was reported in Solapur at 33.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
