PUNE Two men, including the son of a sarpanch of Ozarde village, were booked for taking inappropriate pictures of a woman who was with her daughter.

One of the accused has been identified as Shivam Kisan Bavkar while the name of the local politician’s son remained unidentified.

A complaint in the matter was lodged by the woman who was allegedly photographed. She was feeding her toddler when the men, sitting in a car parked in front of the woman, allegedly took pictures.

As the men allegedly started sniggering, the woman’s husband confronted them. That is when the sarpanch’s son tried to attack him with a pavement block, according to the complainant.

A case under Sections 354(c) (voyeurism), 504 (insult with an intention of provoking breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention) of Indian Penal Code was registered at Shirgaon police outpost of Talegaon Dabhade police station.
