Trailer breakdown causes traffic snarl on Mumbai-Pune Expressway
The Mumbai-Pune Expressway saw a massive traffic jam after a trailer broke down near Lonavala on Monday. The trailer was going towards Mumbai from Pune.

The Mumbai-Pune Expressway saw a massive traffic jam after a trailer broke down near Lonavala on Monday. The trailer was going towards Mumbai from Pune.
Around 3.30pm, it developed a snag near Amrutanjan bridge and the driver lost control and applied the brake.
“The trailer came to a halt covering almost three lanes of the highway, thus blocking the road for vehicles going towards Mumbai. The highway traffic officials along with the local police removed the trailer,” said a police officer from Khopoli police station.
The situation was brought to normal after an hour.
