Australia vs England, Women’s World Cup 2022 Final Highlights: Australia beat England by 71 runs to win World Cup

What a knock by Alyssa Healy! She punches the ball by Anya Shrubsole for a single to complete a well-deserved century as AUS move to 188/1 after 34.2 overs.

Alyssa Healy hits Natalie Sciver for a FOUR, which also see Katherine Brunt take some hit while trying to stop the ball. She's lying on her back as the physio rushes to attend her. She ran from long-on and dived to stop the ball, but lands awkwardly on her shoulder. 

Meanwhile, eight runs come off the over as AUS reach 170/1 after 31 overs.

Sophie Ecclestone breaks the 160-run stand between Rachael Haynes & Alyssa Healy. The former is caught on 68 (93). Meanwhile, 2 runs come off the over as AUS reach 162/1 after 30 overs.

Alyssa Healy is toying with England bowlers. She finishes the 29th over bowled by Natalie Sciver with a cracking boundary as eight runs come off the over. Meanwhile, Healey has reached 86 (82). AUS: 160/0

After fetching 7 runs in the previous over bowled by Charlotte Dean, the pair of Haynes and Healy manage 3 in the over bowled by Brunt. They have added 150-plus stand as Australia are marching towards a big total. AUS: 152/0 (28 overs)

Both Haynes and Healy have now started dictating terms in the middle. The pair hits Brunt for one four each as 11 runs come in the over. AUS: 142/0 (26 overs)

Charlotte Dean is also reintroduced but she starts on a tough note as Alyssa Healy smashes the spinner for two fours. 9 runs come off the over as AUS reach 131/0 after 25 overs. 

Heather Knight goes back to one of the most experienced bowler from her side and brings back Katherine Brunt, who starts off with a six-run over. AUS: 120/0 (24 overs)

After Rachael Haynes, it is time for Alysa Healy to raise her bat. She welcomes Kate Cross with a four to complete the milestone. Meanwhile, 10 runs come off the over as AUS race to 115/0 after 23 overs.

Plenty happening in the middle as both Rachael Haynes and Alyssa Healy are dropped in the over bowled by Kate Cross.

Six runs come off the over bowled by Sophie Ecclestone as England struggle to find the breakthrough. Rachael Haynes along with Alyssa Healy add 92 runs after 20 overs. 

No boundaries but the singles keep coming easily for Australia and they won't mind it. 5 runs come from the over bowled by Kate Cross as AUS reach 86/0 after 19 overs. 

Alyssa Healy charges down the track against Sophie Ecclestone, making some room and slashes the ball towards the long-off region for a four. Five runs come off the over. AUS: 81/0 (18 overs)

Kate Cross comes into the attack and she stars off with a six-run over. AUS: 76/0 (17 overs). Following the over refreshments have been sent for the players, which can help England recalculate their plans.

Sophie Ecclestone comes into the attack and starts off with a tidy over, conceding just two runs. Meanwhile, there was a huge LBW appeal against Alyssa Healy in the third ball and such is the situation that despite not being very convinced, England captain Heather Knight takes a review.  TV replay confirm there was an inside edge before the ball hit the pads. AUS: 70/0 (16 overs)

Australia opener Rachael Haynes (463*) now holds the record for most number of runs in a single edition of the World Cup. She overtakes New Zealand's Debbie Hockley (456), who congratulates Haynes from the commentary box.

Meanwhile, five runs come off Natalie Sciver's over as AUS reach 68/0 after 15 overs. 

The partnership has started to hurt England as it is getting easier for both the batters to get runs. Meanwhile, Haynes smashes Charlotte Dean for two fours in her over as Australia have now moved to 63/0 after 14 overs. 

Rachael Haynes and Alyssa Healy stitch 50-plus stand for the opening wicket. Healy is batting on 25 (34), while Haynes is batting on 26 (44) as five runs come in the 13th over bowled by Natalie Sciver. AUS: 54/0

A short delivery by Natalie Sciver to Rachael Haynes, who has already shown her batting prowess against such balls. The result as expected is a four as she pulls it over the square leg for a four. Five runs come off the over. AUS: 42/0 (11 overs)

Meanwhile, England introduces spin and Charlotte Dean walks in to bowl the 11th over. Seven runs come off it as Australia reach 49/0 after 12 overs.

We are done with the first powerplay and Australia will be the happier side despite managing just 37 runs on the board. Both the openers are still playing in the middle as Alyssa Hayley is batting on 15 (25), her partner Rachael Haynes is playing on 19 (35).
