Mandhana picked up where she had left off in the previous game, while Kaur played the second fiddle. Renuka Singh Thakur showcased her threat with the new ball, troubling the Bangladeshi openers, who struggled to get her away. Neither opener could make a significant impact, and soon after Nigar Sultana Joty arrived at the crease, rain returned 12.2 overs into the innings. With the match reduced from 43 to 27 overs, Bangladesh faced a tricky situation in approaching their innings. Sharmin Akhter held one end, and although Sobhana Mostary sparked a brief flurry of runs, it wasn’t enough, and Bangladesh finished with 119.

5:02 PM IST Well, the official word is in! THE GAME HAS BEEN ABANDONED DUE TO RAIN. The rain shows no signs of letting up, and there isn’t enough time to resume play. Both teams share a point each. Bangladesh finish level on three points with Pakistan, but with one win to their name, they will finish above the winless Pakistan and avoid the wooden spoon. As for India, there wasn’t much to gain from this game, but they leave with a significant injury concern. Pratika Rawal sustained an injury to her knee and ankle while fielding, and her availability for the semifinals will be closely monitored.
