Patil offers this one a lot quicker and pitches it much fuller, on off. Kaushini Nuthyangana gets on her front foot, trying to hit it hard toward long on, but yorks herself out as the ball beats the cue end of the bat and crashes into the stumps.

Loopy delivery, outside off, Kaushini Nuthyangana tries to defend it but gets an inside edge onto the pad.

FOUR! SHOT! Short of a length, outside off, Kaushini Nuthyangana cuts it late through backward point and gets a boundary.

Too straight, flat and short, at the hips. Kaushini Nuthyangana tries to shovel it away but misses and gets hit on the pads.

OUT! MITHALI AYODHYA IS RUN OUT! A complete mix-up between the batters and that leads to the fall of the 9th wicket of Sri Lanka. Short-length delivery around middle and leg. Kaushini Nuthyangana pulls it toward deep square leg. They complete the single, but Ayodhya commits to a second without looking up, only to find her partner completely static at the non-striker's end. G Kamalini swoops on the ball rapidly and throws it at the keeper's end. Richa Ghosh cleanly collects it, removes the bails, and Ayodhya has no chance of making her ground.
