Hardik Pandya’s cheeky response to elder brother Krunal’s marriage announcement
India all-rounder Hardik Pandya posted a cheeky congratulatory tweet to elder brother Krunal after the latter announced the news of his marriage
It is turning out to be a season of marriage for Indian cricketers. After Zaheer Khan’s marriage with Sagarika Ghatge and Virat Kohli’s much-hyped marriage with Anushka Sharma, it is time for Mumbai Indians all-rounder Krunal Pandya to tie the nuptial knot.
Krunal, who is also the elder brother of India all-rounder Hardik Pandya, is set to marry his long-time girlfriend, Pankhuri Sharma, at a five-star hotel in Mumbai on December 27.
Krunal, who was part of the India A team that played a tri-series in South Africa recently, took to Twitter to announce the news of his wedding. “Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her! Ecstatic, Blessed, Thankful,” his tweet read.
Immediately after Krunal’s post, his younger brother and a key member of Indian limited-overs side, Hardik, took to the micro blogging site as well to post a cheeky congratulatory wish for the couple.
Both Krunal and Hardik are considered key players of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. With the IPL mega auction scheduled to take place in January next year, there is a strong possibility of the Mumbai based franchise retaining the services of Hardik. Krunal may also be retained using Right to Match card (RTM).
