IPL 2019 Final, MI vs CSK: Mumbai Indians became Indian Premier League (IPL) champions for the fourth time after defeating Chennai Super Kings by one run in a thrilling final in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Lasith Malinga produced a brilliant performance in the final over of the match as Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by one run to clinch their fourth Indian Premier League (IPL) title on Sunday. With 9 runs needed off the last over, Malinga kept his calm and the veteran dismissed Shardul Thakur on the last ball of the match.

Shane Watson was the top performer for CSK as he scored a brilliant 80 but wickets continued to tumble on the other end and after his dismissal in the final over the match, the reigning champions were unable to finish the match.It was also a rare off day for skipper MS Dhoni as he was run out for just 2.

Earlier, Kieron Pollard top-scored for MI with his unbeaten 41-run knock while Quinton de Kock scored 29. Deepak Chahar accounted for three batsmen while Thakur and Imran Tahir took two wickets each for CSK.
