Australia registered their second win of the T20 tri-series as they beat England by five wickets, thanks in no small part to Glenn Maxwell’s unbeaten 103. Australia lost wickets at regular intervals but Maxwell’s blitzkrieg hitting ensured the hosts got to the target with 9 balls to spare. Earlier, England suffered a spectacular middle-order collapse after Dawid Malan scored his second T20 international 50 in Hobart on Wednesday. From 94 for three to 128 for seven, England sacrificed their great start after Maxwell took three wickets for 10 runs in his two overs. Left-arm spinner Ashton Agar took two for 15.
