His dismissal triggered a shift in the tide as Quetta’s momentum evaporated. Despite being ahead for much of the chase, the Gladiators struggled at the death as Lahore’s bowlers held their nerve. Quetta eventually finished on 188/7, leaving them to regret lost wickets at crunch intervals while Lahore celebrated a hard-fought victory.

The star of the innings was undoubtedly Fakhar Zaman, whose explosive 103 off 51 balls provided the backbone of Lahore’s total. Despite a slow start, Fakhar shifted gears effortlessly. By the end of the Powerplay, Lahore had surged to 58/1, bolstered by a massive 22-run sixth over that snatched the momentum away from the visitors.
