"The Cricket Australia National Selection Panel on Monday advised that Peter George has been included in the Test squad to play Pakistan on the Tour of England, replacing the injured Ryan Harris," CA said in a statement.

Besides, the selectors added pacer Doug Bollinger, who was in England as part of the one-day squad, to the Twenty20 squad.

"The unfortunate knee injury to Ryan Harris has seen him ruled out of the Twenty20 internationals and the Test tour against Pakistan in England," NSP Chairman Andrew Hilditch said.

"Doug Bollinger has been added to the Twenty20 squad and Peter George has been called into the Australian Test squad. Peter George had an excellent Shield season last year and was called up to the New Zealand tour earlier in the year where he impressed around the squad," he added.

George will leave for England this evening to meet-up with the Australian squad.
