They will be playing at their home venue and there will be vociferous support, but the management needs to find the right balance and players at different positions. They have to win both their remaining matches by a huge margin and then sit and hope for a bunch of other results to fall their way.

Kohli, who went in with a bowler short in the previous match, will address this issue here and he has to also sort out the position of Marcus Stoinis in the playing XI. Shivam Dube, who such a prized pick in the auctions, has only flattered to deceive, but he has never got an extended run with a specific role to perform.

RCB have already been pushed aside by Rajasthan in the earlier fixture and for both Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, the threat of Shreyas Gopal remains. Flexibility in the batting order could be the way go forward for RCB, but on a flat track in Bengaluru, their bowlers could be under pressure.
