Hridoy moved to the top of the all-time standings with a four off Jomel Warrican in the 106th over, moving past Mushfiqur Rahim's 219 not out against Zimbabwe in 2018.

Playing only his third Test, Hridoy became the first Bangladesh batter to convert his maiden Test century into a double hundred, reaching the milestone off 304 balls.

He became the fourth Bangladesh batter to score a Test double century, and the first to hit one against West Indies.
