England women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt is in complete awe of the Indian captain Virat Kohli. Back in 2014, Danielle had even gone on to the extent of putting out a tweet asking Kohli to marry her, totally besotted with the Indian cricketer who was rising up the ranks rapidly. Meanwhile, Danielle Wyatt did well to herself to get Kohli to give her a very special gift. She got a bat as a gift from the Indian cricket captain, whose batting prowess has left almost each and everyone in the cricket fraternity in complete amazement with him.

At the age of 28, Virat Kohli has not only shattered many a batting record but has firmly fixated himself to go down in cricket history as one of its greats.

Danielle posted a picture of the bat gifted by the Indian captain, with his name written at the base of it. However, there was a catch and Twitter trolls did not waste time in launching an attack on the England cricketer.

Back in 2014 in the tweet in which she asked Kohli to marry her, Danielle had written “Kholi marry me”. Indeed, she had mis-spelt the name of the Indian cricketer.

On Tuesday, when she shared the picture of the bat which she described by writing ‘#middlesbiggerthanme’, she once again made the same mistake. And Twitter was unforgiving this time.

Virat Kohli is known for gifting bats to fellow cricketers. In March 2016 when the Indian and Pakistani teams had got together at Kolkata for a ICC World T20 match, Kohli had presented his bat to Pakistani fast bowling sensation Mohammad Amir.

Recently, Kohli sent one of his bats to former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi, for his charity organisation.
