Chennai Super Kings star Dwayne Bravo’s original composition ‘Champions’ has been one of the most commonly used celebratory songs since it was released in 2016. The West Indies allrounder, who is known for his energetic and entertaining personality both on and off the field, gave a few lucky kids a live performance recently.
Two of them were none other than the daughters of CSK stalwarts MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina.
Raina’s daughter Gracia celebrated her second birthday on Monday with a cake cutting celebration attended by likes of Dhoni, Bravo and others. But the festivities didn’t seem to end there and Bravo led the after party proceedings by singing his hit tune for all the children.
Gracia was joined by Dhoni’s daughter Ziva on the dance floor as seen in a video posted by CSK on their social media.
Bravo has appeared in all 12 of CSK’s matches in the Indian Premier League this season getting 133 runs at an average of 66.50. He has also taken nine wickets. The 34-year-old also became the first cricketer to take 400 wickets in T20s in December last year.
CSK, who returned to the 11th edition of the IPL after two-year suspensions have already sealed their play-off spot with two league games yet to be played. They will face Delhi Daredevils on Friday and Kings XI Punjab on Sunday evening.
