Ambedkar University releases its fourth cutoff list, 92% of seats already filled

Though Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has filled almost 92% of its seats, it released a fourth cutoff list on Tuesday, which saw most courses still open for admissions in the general category with a drop of upto 3.25% points.
Of the 445 seats that are available at the two AUD campuses at Kashmere Gate and Karampura, 416 seats have already been filled by the end of admissions under the third cutoff list.
The only course that has been closed in the general category in the fourth list is Mathematics (Hons) where seats reserved for students from national capital territory of Delhi have been filled. However, seats are still available for non-NCT students, with a cutoff of 85.5%, 89.5%, and 90.5% for arts, science and commerce stream students, respectively.
The highest cutoffs are set for Psychology (Hons) programme. For NCT students, the cutoffs are set at 90%, 94% and 95% for arts, science and commerce stream students, respectively. Non-NCT students who are from arts, science and commerce stream will need a best four score of 91.25%, 95.25% and 96.25%, respectively, to qualify for the Psychology (Hons) programme.
For Non-NCT students, the highest drop in cutoffs were for the BA (Hons) Social Sciences and Humanities programme, where the cutoff has dropped by 3.25% points. For Delhi students the highest drop has been for Sociology (Hons) programme, where the cutoff has dropped by 2.5% points.
Students will have until Thursday to confirm their admissions at the university, if they have cleared the cutoff. The orientation programme for admitted students will be held on August 1.
