Delhi residents got respite from the blistering heat on Sunday as rainfall lashed the national capital, bringing down the temperature.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.1 degrees Celsius on Sunday morning, a notch above normal, said a MeT department official.
“There would be partly cloudy sky on Sunday with possibility of thunderstorm and rain,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had said earlier.
The weatherman has predicted that the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 46%.
On Saturday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 38.7 and 28.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
