14-hour helpline, 155055, launched for traders
NEW DELHI: The Delhi government on Wednesday launched a dedicated six-digit helpline for traders.
NEW DELHI: The Delhi government on Wednesday launched a dedicated six-digit helpline for traders.
Officials said by dialling the helpline number, 155055, traders can get information regarding the procedure of starting a new business, guide in filing various forms and availing various services provided by department of trade and taxes, policy matters, system and legal issues. The helpline can be used to register complaints against tax evasion.
“The complaints received on the helpline will automatically be forwarded to the senior officers. If the complaint of the traders is not addressed in a given time frame, it will provide feedback on resolution of the complaint to the complainant,” an official said.
The helpline will function for 14 hours in a day — from 8am to 10pm.
