NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police on Monday arrested two alleged contract killers involved in over 100 criminal cases.

Joginder Kumar and Jeetu allegedly attempted to eliminate one Santosh Kumar Tripathy, a transporter and politician.
The incident came to the notice of the police after Tripathy complained that on August 25 some unidentified people fired bullets at his car. He said he was going to Daya Basti and was saved because he ducked.
Following the complaint, police began investigation. During inquiry it was found that one Joginder Kumar and his associate Jeetu Kumar had fired at Tripathy. The information about the men was further developed.
“We found that Joginder Kumar was listed as a history-sheeter and was involved in over 100 cases of theft, robbery, dacoity and Arms Act,” joint commissioner of police, crime, Ravindra Yadav said.
