Admission denied, baby dies
NEW DELHI: A nine-month-old baby with fever and gastro-intestinal problems died after being denied admission at a Delhi government hospital on Wednesday.

NEW DELHI: A nine-month-old baby with fever and gastro-intestinal problems died after being denied admission at a Delhi government hospital on Wednesday.
It is suspected to be a case of dengue. The hospital, however, said it was a case of a gastro-intestinal infection. The baby had come to the hospital a few days ago with fever and vomiting. She was given medicines and sent home.
However, her father brought her back to the hospital on Wednesday when her condition deteriorated.
