NEW DELHI: Those who have not yet applied to Delhi University for its undergraduate courses have time till Wednesday evening to complete their applications.

“The online registration will end at 5pm on June 22 (Wednesday). But those candidates who have confirmed their registration till 5pm will be permitted to submit the fee till midnight of June 22, which means they will get additional seven hours after the closing of online registration,” said an official.
This year, for the first time, the university is accepting only online application forms. The first cutoff will be released on June 30 at 9am. Admissions under the first cutoff will start on June 30 and will continue till July 2. The second cutoff list will come out on July 5.
The university will come out with only five cutoff lists this year. After that students will have to approach individual colleges to seek admission on vacant seats.
University officials said that even college fees can be paid online and the only time students will have to physically visit the colleges will be when they go for document verification.
Aspirants need to log into the DU portal (www.du.ac.in) register and fill the application form.
Apart from filling the form, students have to upload a copy of self-attested Class 10 and 12 marksheets and reserved category certificate. The size of the file should not be more than 200 KB. Similarly, the photograph and signature should also not be more than 50KB each.
Starting this year, the students applying under the sports and extracurricular activities (ECA) quota can also select the sports and ECA through the centralised admission form. The online registration for all categories including Sports, ECA, Kashmiri Migrants, and CW (Defence) will be completely online. The registration fees is Rs 100 for unreserved and OBC category while Rs 50 for SC/ST/PwD (Person with Disabilities).
The total number of students who have registered at the DU online portal till date is 3,52,209 and the total number of applicants who have completed the process is 24,118.
