Amit Chopra, 21, and Sanjiv Raj, 23, MBA students at a Delhi institute, were on the 1000 CC Honda that crashed into a road divider at a high speed around 8 am.

The police said Raj was flung 15 feet into the air. He died on way to the hospital. Chopra died at Kailash Hospital within half an hour. “The speed at which they hit the central verge can be judged by the condition of the motorcycle,” said Sub-Inspector R.K. Shishodia, adding that the bike was badly mangled.

Chopra, featured in magazines and television for his motorcycle stunts, lived in Shakarpur, while Raj lived in Inderpuri.
